Q:

How do we access The Pavilion?

A:

Our venue can be accessed by Art Gallery Road or via the Domain precinct by foot. We are a 5 minute walk away from Martin Place Station. Bus 441 operates between the Art Gallery of NSW and QVB 10 am - 5 pm daily.

Q:

What kind of parking facilities are available?

A:

There is metered car parking along Mrs. Macquarie’s Road and outside the Art Gallery of NSW. The Domain Car Park is located a short distance from the venue at 2 St. Mary’s Road. At time of printing, The Domain Car Park offers a flat rate of $10 on Saturdays and Sundays (excluding special event days) and after 5pm Monday to Friday. Q:

Is your venue wheelchair friendly?

A:

Yes it is. There is also a small bay where wheelchair guests can be dropped off just outside the venue for ease.

Q:

What event package inclusions do you provide?

A:

All furniture, tea light candles, crockery, glassware, cutlery, white or black linen, napkins and professional wait staff.

Q:

Do you supply styling and theming?

A:

Our suppliers will assist you with all of your styling needs. A list of our suppliers along with their contact details within this wedding kit. Please connect with them directly.

Q:

What audio visual equipment do you have available at the venue?

A:

We have two built-in high quality HD projectors, two 16:9 motorised screen, two hand held microphones, a lectern, podium and sound system available to hire from our preferred AV supplier, Innovative Productions. 

Q:

Do I have to choose one of the food and beverage packages offered, or can I tailor a bespoke menu?

A:

Yes, we would be delighted to work with you to design a menu that best suits your event.

Q:

When do you require final numbers and menu selections?

A:

We ask that all final numbers and menu choices are confirmed 14 days prior to the event. Your final invoice is due 5 clear working days prior to the event. 

Q:

Can I bring my own alcohol?

A:

Yes, we allow you to supply your own alcohol; there is corkage fee for this. The alcohol will need to be delivered prior to the event and collected the morning after. 

Q:

How do I confirm my event date?

A:

Your event date will be confirmed once we receive your deposit payment of 25% of the minimum spend and a signed contract. The balance must be paid 7 days before your event date.

Q:

Will security be provided?

A:

Security is required for all evening events over 100 guests.

Q:

What is the address of the venue? What should I tell my guests?

A:

The Pavilion on the Domain, 1 Art Gallery Road, Sydney

Q:

What is the latest time my event can run to?

A:

We are licenced until midnight Monday – Saturday and until 10pm on Sundays.

Q:

Can I deliver items for my event in advance?

A:

All deliveries of event materials are to be made on the day of your event. We ask that everything you send or drop off is clearly labelled.  Please be aware that all event material and theming must be removed from the venue at the end of your event or unless agreed differently with your event manager.

Can my guest smoke at your venue?

A:

The Pavilion on the Domain is a non-smoking venue.

Dietary Requirements

A:

Dietary requirements are catered for separately by our chefs, all guests with dietary requirements need to be confirmed when all information is due 14 days prior.
